Dental Implantology
Dr Pedro Sousa graduated in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra in 1979 and has been a recognised specialist in Stomatology since 1996. He has led the Dental Implantology department at Wave Dental since 2008.
Throughout his career, he has focused on dental implant placement and the corresponding stages of prosthetic rehabilitation, helping patients who have lost their natural teeth recover their ability to chew, oral function and confidence in their smile.
Dental implants can replace missing teeth with fixed solutions, depending on each patient’s clinical assessment and individual circumstances.
He works closely with areas including Periodontology, Fixed Prosthodontics and Oral Surgery, following a multidisciplinary approach centred on each patient’s health and well-being.
