Prof Dr Natália Ferreira is a dentist and has been a member of the Wave Dental team since 2021, working in the field of Oral Rehabilitation.
She completed her Integrated Master’s Degree in Dentistry at the University of Coimbra in 2011. Since then, she has combined clinical practice with research and teaching in Temporomandibular Disorders and Orofacial Pain.
She has seven years of teaching experience in these fields at the Faculty of Dentistry of UF Rio de Janeiro. She is currently a guest lecturer in Occlusal Rehabilitation and Physiology of the Stomatognathic System within the Dentistry programme at the University of Coimbra.
Alongside her clinical and teaching activities, she has developed research projects in the field of pain, resulting in ten articles published in scientific journals, one book chapter and several collaborations with other researchers.
